Well everyone if you've seen my video called new trains,new cars and 400 subscribers you might remember me mentioning about a surprize train I had on layaway. Well this is it and its a Proto 1000 Amtrak Phase 2 RDC2 # 36. Its my very first Amtrak RDC and its a beauty. Its been almost 3-4 years since i've seen a Proto RDC let alone an amtrak version. Shes a good runner but I am dissapointed that one of the rear piolet and steps are missing. I am thinking about using one of my junk athearn RDC's to replace the steps and pilot on this one or custom make one out of styrean plastic. that will be a bit tricky to do but I can do it. In this video I show her running in both directions,which allows you to see the directional lighting she has. When I was running her i notice that she is a bit louder then my Proto B&O RDC 2 and MBTA RDC 3. I'll make a video of them all running toegther soon. I really like the fact tht the proto 1000 units have a single power truck and are pretty heavy. They can pull several passenger cars and look great doing it. I've never filmed or remember trying tht but I might make a video of that also to show you. The details on this model match the prototype in everyway. Before amtrak modified them with diaphrams they looked like my model here.I highly recommend that if you find one of these in any railroad buy them becuase they are hard to find especially the Amtrak ones. Here's a video covering a common repair issue on GM C/K series trucks. If you are having problems with no heat, no cooling or air coming out from the wrong place and you've confirmed that the control panel isn't burnt up, then chances are you have a failed actuator. Air door actuators are cheap and fairly easy to replace on these vehicles. However, ensure that the control panel IS functioning and sending commands to the suspect actuator before condemning it. There are three actuators which do three different things, so make sure you have identified which one is defective before buying a replacement. 1. Mode door: Mounted on end of case near driver's right foot. Controls where airflow comes out at. 2. Blend door: Mounted on rear(tailgate side) of case roughly behind the ashtray. Controls how hot or cold air is. 3. Recirculate door: Mounted on top of case, very hard to access. Controls whether air is fresh or recirculated. Most people don't bother replacing it. WARNING: DO NOT "TEST" ACTUATORS WITH THEM DETACHED FROM THE HVAC BOX!!! THEY WILL OVERTRAVEL AND BE OUT OF INDEX AS YOU'LL SEE IN THE VIDEO. YOU CANNOT REPAIR THIS EASILY, SO ALWAYS HAVE THE ACTUATOR MOUNTED TO THE BOX BEFORE ANY KIND OF TESTING TAKES PLACE.

This Scania Liebherr Crane Truck by Bruder offers children realistic and active playing fun.The boom on the Mack Crane Truck extends to 50 inches tall, with an extension piece that snaps on to the end of the boom. The telescopic and height-adjustable jib works with a patented adjusting cylinder and there is a device for quick and noiseless lowering of the die cast hook. There are 4 outriggers (stabilizer legs) to ensure the highest degree of stability, as well as, a counter weight can be filled with sand to balance the load of the crane. The Scania Truck has swing-out mirrors and doors, soft rubber-like sculptured tires and a view of the motor unit when the operator's cab is tilted forward. The Operator's Cab has a sliding panel door for easy access and the crane swivels 360°. My Channel: www.youtube.com My new truck, that I have named One Bad Ass '92: The Dub X Edition. It is a 1992 GMC Sierra 1500 with a Southern Comfort Conversion Package. The body color is maroon with a white graphics kit, with a plum front clip (The truck had been wrecked before I got it, I put a new front clip on it. The wheels are saw-blade style aluminum wheels, 15 in. tall, 10 in. wide all around. The bed has a body color-matched fiberglass tonneau cover, the interior has custom wood trim, along with leather front and back seats, plus a radar detector. Stereo head unit is a 180-Watt JVC KD-S5050. The doors are power locks, and power windows; the rear windows have body color-matched plastic window louvers. The cab has a body color-matched metal visor, and the doors have plastic visors. The entire grille and headlight setup is from a 1988 model. The engine is a Throttle-Body Injection 5.7L 350cid Small-Block Chevy, transmission is a 4-Speed Overdrive Automatic, not sure which transmission it actually is. Exhaust system is a Flowmaster muffler, Y-Pipe dual setup with chrome tips. Feedback please? By the way, I think this truck would look NICE with an LS1, but that's just me.
